Meet Allana – Neurodiversity Family Coach
Your Neurodiversity Expert
Thank you for coming to my page! Founding and running Candor Diversity Group has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my career, but it also has been, by far, the most rewarding. Through CDG, my team and I focus on three main areas – Neurodiversity/ADHD/Menopause informed coaching for adults, coaching for adults of Neurodiverse children, and education and training for both individuals and employers. As an ICF trained coach, my goal is to help my clients develop demystify what Neurodiversity is, how it impacts them and their family and how to make real strides forward in their own lives. I also am extremely passionate when educating on the crazy Venn diagram that is Neurodiversity, Menopause and Parenting a Neurodiverse child.
My Personal Journey with Neurodiversity
My experience with neurodiversity has profoundly shaped my professional path and mission to support others. My personal journey fuels my dedication to coaching adults and supporting the networks around neurodiverse individuals. My insights, gained through lived experiences and professional training, enable me to provide empathetic guidance, and practical strategies to my clients.

This early diagnosis sparked my awareness of neurodiversity and its impact on her life.
Diagnosed with ADHD in 2016, Partner Diagnosed with ASD in 2018
These diagnoses marked pivotal moments in my personal and relational growth, prompting extensive exploration and understanding of neurodiversity dynamics.
Navigating Challenges in Work Environments
From my experiences in the bustling environments of pools and restaurants, I faced significant challenges related to my neurodivergent traits. Despite my valuable “superpowers” such as hyperfocus and problem-solving abilities, I encountered a lack of understanding and accommodation from employers.
Experience with Burnout and Mental Health
In 2022, I reached a critical point of burnout, prompting deep reflection and a commitment to prioritizing mental health. This period catalyzed her passion for advocating and supporting others facing similar challenges.
Formation of Candor Diversity Group
In 2024, alongside my partner, I founded Candor Diversity Group with the mission to empower and educate individuals and organizations about neurodiversity. My goal is to foster inclusive environments where neurodivergent individuals can thrive.
